How do I change my filing method for Form 941?

I use QB for Non-Profits and enhanced payroll (30-day free). I was able to make by monthly federal tax deposit on Friday with a confirmation email received this morning. However, I was not able to e-file my second quarter 941.

Greetings, museum! I hope you're having a good day. 

I'm here to lend a hand to change your filing method for your 941. 

Here's how you can change the filing method for your form 941: 

  1. Click the Employees menu. 
  2. Select Payroll Tax Forms & W-2s.
  3. Click Process Payroll Forms
  4. Click the File Forms tab, then select Change Filing Method under the Other Activities section. 
  5. Follow the setup prompts, then click Continue.
  6. Select your 941 form in the menu, then click Edit
  7. Select E-file for the Filing Methods option. 
  8. Click Finish

Once done, it should take you to the e-file enrollment process. For more information about E-file services for QuickBooks Desktop, you can check this article
