How do I change the GL account I want my Assisted Payroll processing fees to be charged to?

Welcome to the Intuit Community. Changing the general ledger account for your processing fees is a breeze.

Let’s go to the Payroll Service Accounts window to perform this task. Here’s how:

1. In your company file, go to the Employees menu to select Send Payroll Data.
2. Tap the Preferences button to open the Payroll Service Accounts window.
3. From there, click the Payroll Service Fees Account drop-down to choose the account you want to post the fees.
   
4. Hit the OK button.
5. Press Send and then enter your direct deposit PIN.
