How do I change the IRS mileage rate in QBO? It's stuck on 0.575, but for 2021 it's supposed to be 0.56.

Hi @vendors2,

The QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app mileage rate automatically updates the mileage rate for 2021.

The first thing I can suggest to resolve this issue is to clear your app data.

For Android, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Move to Apps (varies by device).
  3. Choose QuickBooks app from the list.
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Hit Clear data.

For iOS, go with these steps below:

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  3. Choose the QuickBooks app from the list.
  4. Tap Offload App

You can proceed to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app if the issue persists at this point. You can also refer to this article for other troubleshooting steps you can do with the QBO mobile app: Troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app.

If you encounter issues with mileage tracking, then proceed to view this article: Fix mileage tracking issues in the QuickBooks Online mobile app

Feel free to tag me in the comments below if you have other questions with mileage tracking in QBO. I'll be around to help you out.
