How do I change the issue date of a paper payroll check?

Hi joangill529. Changing the issue date of a paper check in QuickBooks Online is nice and simple. Here's how:

1. Click Workers on the left-hand side then Employees
2. Now press Run Payroll 
3. At the top of the screen, you set the Pay Period and Pay Date. 
4. Fill in the rest of the check info like normal.
