How do i change the value for the number of employees on line 1 with regards to a quarterly form.I want to do this before I electronically send it

I want to share information on how the system populates the information that's showing up in Line 1 of the 941 form, @statewidepaintin.

In QuickBooks Online, any employees paid with a pay period that included the date of March 12 (for Q1), June 12 (for Q2), September 12 (for Q3), or December 12 (for Q4), are counted in Line 1 of the 941 form.

To verify this matter, we can run the Payroll Details report to check the employees who should be on the form.

Here's how you can run the report:

1. On the left navigation bar, click Reports.
2. In the search bar, type in and select Payroll Details.
3. Filter the date to the quarter you need.
4. Check the pay period below the employee name (see screenshot below). 

If the number of employees is correct in the report but showing as incorrect in the form, let's access your account on a private window and process it from there. This can help us identify if the issue has something to do with the browser that you're using.

You can open a Private Window in all supported browsers using the corresponding keyboard shortcut below:

• Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
• Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
• Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
• Safari: Command+Shift+N

If it works fine, I suggest clearing your regular browser's cache. The next time you log in to QuickBooks Online, your browser will download fresh copies of your data. Any cache-related issues will be fixed.
