Good day, @hjplummer2,

 

Let's confirm the test transaction so you can complete your direct deposit enrollment.

 

Once the test amount appears on your bank statement as either "QuickBooks: Verify Bank" or "Intuit: Verify Bank", you can then verify it.

 

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. From the left menu, select Workers, then Employees.
  2. Click New payroll tasks.

  3. Click Confirm your payroll bank account.

  4. Enter the test transaction amount in both boxes (less than $1.00).
    - Enter the pennies only, without a dollar sign or decimal point.

  5. Click OK.

If there's no New payroll tasks button, here's another way to verify test transaction:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Choose Payroll Settings under Your Company.
  3. Under Bank Accounts, select Company.
  4. Click Verify Account, then enter and confirm the amount.

If the verification process fails or is rejected, you need to re-enter the bank account information.

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Payroll Settings.
  3. Under Bank Accounts, select Company.
  4. Click Update, then enter 123456789 as the bank account number (leave the routing number the same).
  5. Once that is accepted, go back in and re-enter the correct information. This will trigger a new test transaction to the correct account.
