How do I discontinue service?

Hello there, @dennyfraley

 

I appreciate you for trying QuickBooks and it's sad to know you've decided to discontinue using the service.

 

If you've signed up through the web, follow these steps below: 

 

  1. In the Settings menu, choose Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Billing and Subscription section. 
  3. Click the Cancel link beside your QuickBooks Online subscription status.
  4. Click Continue to cancel and indicate the reason for cancellation.
  5. Select Confirm Cancel.

 

Just in case, here's a reference if you've subscribed through the mobile apps: Cancel a QuickBooks Online subscription purchased through an app store

 

Once canceled, you can still access your data as read-only for a year so you can get back to it whenever you need to resubscribe. I'd also recommend printing forms and reports as you might need them in the future.

I've got you the steps to cancel your subscription.  Here's how: 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right. 
  2. Select Account and Settings, then click on Billing and subscription at the left pane.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
  4. Click Continue to cancel, then select the Continue to cancel button (if it shows on your screen).
  5. Follow the next steps and click Submit and cancel subscriptionthen hit Got it.
