In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can add hourly pay for 2 hours without causing overtime for an employee.
Here's how:
- Go to the Payroll menu and choose Employees.
- Select your employee.
- From Pay types, select Start or Edit.
- Click + Add hourly pay.
- You can change the Pay type name if you want.
- Enter the Rate per hour.
- Repeat steps 4-5 if you need more pay items.
- When finished, select Save.
After that, you can add it to the current week using the hourly rate.
