Your state Account Number is also known as an ID number that can be found on your Payroll settings. This section listed all your company's tax information in QuickBooks Online.
If you already have a state account number entered in the system, here are the steps to locate it:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Click Payroll settings.
- Select North Carolina under Taxes.
- Go to Withholding Setup, then NC Account Number (Withholding).
Otherwise, you’ll want to contact your state tax agency regarding this matter, then you can setup this in QBO.
