How do I get Quickbooks Online Payroll to print W-2's to 3-part paper? Form printing preference is set to 3-part, but program prints 4-part.

Hi Kenneth,

Before printing your W-2s, please ensure you're using the correct paper type. QuickBooks Online supports both 3-part and 4-part perforated paper for these forms.

We can go back to the Form W-2 print setting page to adjust the paper type when printing W-2s. Here's how:
 

1. From the Form W-2 print setting page,  click the Change setting option to update the paper type.
2. Select View or Manage next to the copy you need:
   • W-3: Summary Transmittal of Wage and Tax Statements
   • W-2: Copies B, C & 2 (employee)
   • W-2: Copies A & D (employer)
3. Select View and Print. 
4. In the Adobe Reader toolbar, click the Print icon and then select Print.
