How do I print Employee IDs on Paystubs?

Is there a way to print Employee ID's on paystubs in Quickbooks Desktop?  I already went into Preferences - Payroll & Employees - Pay Stub & Voucher Printing and do not see an option for it.

How do I print Employee IDs on Paystubs?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, aklunk145. I appreciate your detailed information.

Here's a current list of what can be customized on pay stubs:

I can certainly understand how an ability to include Employee IDs on printed paystubs while customizing them could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while using QuickBooks.

Here's how:

  1. In the top menu bar, go to Help, Send Feedback Online, then Product Suggestion....

  2. Choose a Type of Feedback and Product Area (optional) from your available drop-down lists.

  3. Enter any suggestions/feedback in the Here is my suggestion: field.

  4. If you'd like, include your name/email in the My name is: (optional) and My e-mail address is: (optional) fields.

  5. Select Send Feedback.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

As a workaround, when printing a pay stub, you can manually enter a message to be printed on the document. When printing it, you'll want to click Preferences, then enter your preferred text in the Company message to be printed on all pay stubs box. This message is displayed on each pay stub you select to print, so be sure to only print one at a time unless you want the same text displayed on each printed document.

You also have the option of checking our QuickBooks Marketplace for apps which may be able to help you achieve what you're looking to accomplish.

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome Wednesday!
