How do I receive copy of Form 1099 from a client?

It’s nice to see you in the Community, kreutz1618.


Let’s log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and view or print your client’s 1099 from there. I’m here to help and ensure you can get the form.


After your client submits the the1099-MISC to the IRS, you'll get an email when it's ready for download. Once you have it, select the link in the email to sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Let me share the steps on how to access the form.

 

  1. Log in to your QBSE account.
  2. Go to the Clients menu on the left panel.
  3. From the list, choose the one you’re working on.
  4. Then, go to the Forms tab to access the 1099 form.
