Hi there, @mfer2001.
Printing the previous 1099 forms on the file service website is just a few clicks. I'm glad to walk you through the steps on how to achieve this.
Here's how:
The Intuit 1099 E-File service opens on January 1, 2021, and the due date is February 1, 2021. You may refer to this article for more information: What is 1099, and do I need to file one?.
You can find your client list in your account by going to the Go to QuickBooks link in the toolbar. If you cant still see, there are several reasons why you might not find your client in the QuickBooks Online Accountant Client list.
Let's verify if the client is moved to the inactive list by following the steps below.
For more details, visit this article: Find missing client companies in QuickBooks Online Accountant.
Once the client's list shows up, you can now file 1099 forms one at a time at the end of the year. For the complete steps, visit this link: Create and file 1099s using QuickBooks Online.
I've attached articles about 1099 and how to file the forms with complete instructions, and other related topics.
I'm just a few clicks away if you have any other questions. I'll be delighted to be your guide. Have a great day.
Hello,
I am trying to find the 2018 PDF copies of the 1099's I filed for one of my clients, I sign in as per your instructions but it only shows 2020!!! Where are the older archived copies?
And Yes I know I am using the correct login, it's the same as my QBO Accountant login, what else would or could it be?
Thanks
Heather
