How do we file PA 116 taxes for an estate in Michigan?

We have been in probate from March 2020-December2023. We are now trying to file the PA116 for 2020-2023 under the Estate. In January of 2024 we filed our transfer forms for the PA116 to now owner, we are currently waiting on the confirmation of that transfer.

How do we file PA 116 taxes for an estate in Michigan?

Filing PA 116 taxes for an estate in Michigan within QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable, efamily. Please see the details below for more information about the filing process for PA 116.

QuickBooks Online only supports filing payroll forms (Michigan Unemployment Insurance Quarterly Contribution Report Worksheet, Form UIA 1028, and Form 5080) for the state of Michigan.

You can manually file the PA 115 for previous years. Just make sure to contact our state agency for further guidance. Your state agency will guide you and give proper advice regarding the transfer forms submitted.

In your spare time, you can visit and read these articles for tips about handling payroll reports and filing taxes and payroll forms in the program.
