I’m here to help reverse the fringe benefit in QuickBooks.

You can void or delete the paycheck for the fringe benefit up to the check date. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Workers menu and select Employees.
  2. Choose the employee from the list.
  3. Select the Paycheck list tab.
  4. Look for the paycheck for the fringe benefit and select it.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. On the Delete paycheck pop-up, select I understand that this action cannot be undone, then hit Delete Paycheck.




If the Delete button does not appear after selecting the paycheck, I recommend giving our Payroll Support Team for further assistance. They have the tools to delete the transaction even after the check date. 

Here's how to get in touch with phone support:

  1. Log in to QBO using a web browser.
  2. Click the Help (?) icon in the top-right.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter what you need in the How can we help? field, and click Continue.
  5. Choose Get Callback, enter your contact information and hit Call Me.
