How to change employee status

Changing employee status can be with ease, @userbill-s.

 

In QuickBooks Online, you can set an employee to ActivePaid Leave of AbsenceUnpaid Leave of AbsenceNot On payroll, and Terminated of your employee. You can update the status by going to an employee's profile.

 

Here's how:

  1. From the Payroll or Workers menu, select the Employees tab. 
  2. Double click the employee's name, then click the Pencil/Edit icon beside Employment
  3. In the Status drop-down arrow, select the corresponding status of that employee.

  4. Tap Done
