How to delete memo on payroll check

Good afternoon, @invoicing3.

 

I'm here to help you edit your payroll paycheck in QuickBooks Online.

 

If you haven't submitted the paycheck yet, then you can click Back and make the necessary changes. After it's been submitted, then you can follow the steps I've listed below:

 

Before the pay date:

  1. Go to Workers in the left-hand menu, then Employees.
  2. Click on the Employee's name, then Paycheck List
    • Note: If it shows as Not Processed Yet, then you can delete and recreate the paycheck.
  3. Mark the checkbox next to the pay date.
  4. Hit the Delete button, then press Yes to confirm.
  5. Now you can recreate the paycheck.

After the pay date:

  1. Go to Workers in the left-hand menu, then Employees.
  2. Click on the Employee's name, then Paycheck List.
    • Note: If it shows as Processed, then you'll need to contact our Payroll Support for further assistance.
