I'm here to help and point you in the right direction for setting up the Making Tax Digital (MTD) function.
In addition to @Fiat Lux – ASIA answer, you can only use one subscription for one company in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you have a US version and want to use it in another region, you must sign up for a separate account (UK) and then activate the MTD from there. You can take the test drive for QuickBooks Online (QBO) to learn more about the features available in the program. This allows you to explore or play around since it doesn’t save any changes you make.

The UK site requires a UK business address to sign up for the MTD plan. Is there a way to sign up with a US business address?
Hi there, @sooleach. I'm here to provide additional information about signing up for the Making Tax Digital (MTD) plan in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
The MTD plan is eligible only for QBO UK users. That's the reason why it only accepts UK addresses. As a workaround. you could create a QBO UK account to use this feature.
