How to track use tax?

Currently, there's no option to track use tax in QuickBooks Online. However, I'd suggest creating a Journal entry in the system to manually track it. I'd also suggest consulting an accountant for further guidance on setting it up or to properly record this entry. This is to ensure your books are accurate in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please follow the steps below.
 

1. Select + New icon.
2. Choose Journal entry.
3. Enter the journal date and the account.
4. Fill out the other fields to create your journal entry.
5. Hit Save and new or Save and close.
