First, try opening an Incognito browser and access your QBO account from there. Unexpected behaviors in QuickBooks are mostly affected by the large data in the cache. This private page doesn't save browsing history making it a great place to check for cache issues.
Here are the shortcut keys for each browser:
- Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P
- Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
- Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N
If it works fine on the private window, clear the browser's cache to start with a clean slate. Alternatively, you can use other compatible browsers in QuickBooks.
I also recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. They have tools that can access your account securely and assist you in archiving the old data.
Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter your concern under What can we help you with?.
- Click Let’s talk.
- Select either Message an agent or Get a callback.
- Type in your contact info.
- Choose either Send message or Confirm my call.
