How to view the complete payment account numbers added by employees themselves in QuickBooks?

I'll help you find the employee's account number and identify the root cause of why they haven't received their salary, aa986691271.

Before anything else, would you mind sharing the details of how your employees added their account numbers by themselves? QuickBooks Workforce only allows your employees to view your pay stubs, W-2s, and more. Additional information will help us determine the resolution for this issue.

However, If you added them as users in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll account and they added their account numbers from there, we can locate the details within the employee records. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and choose Employees.
  2. From there, select the employee.
  3. On the Profile tab, go to the Payment method section.

Since they weren't able to receive their pay, you'll want to ensure that their account information is recorded correctly. If you're using direct deposit, it also depends on the funding timeframe. This timeframe determines how many days in advance of a paycheck's date you send the payroll to Intuit for processing. Additionally, there are a few scenarios that can cause an employee to not receive their funds on time:

  • There's a problem on the financial institution's side.
  • The pay date occurs on a weekend or holiday.
  • Your direct deposit payroll was submitted after the cutoff time, which is 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. When this happens, payroll will be processed on the next banking day

If it is confirmed that the account or routing number is incorrect or it belongs to another employee, you can refer to this handy guide for detailed information: Handle a direct deposit paycheck that was not received by an employee.

However, if this isn't the scenario and your employees still haven't received their pay, I recommend reaching out to our Live Customer Support Team so they can investigate and track the funds to assist you with the next steps.
