There are ways to edit your bank information in QuickBooks. Let me share them with you to get this resolved.
If you're referring to the bank account where you get your payroll expenses, you can update it from the Payroll Settings. Let me guide you how to get there.
If it's a payroll subscription's bank account, you can edit the account from the billing section. Here's how to do it.
Please see attached screenshots below.
I've also got this article about employees and payroll taxes for additional reference.
If you have concerns about accounts or if you have other questions, please let me know. I'll be around for you.
Thanks for posting in the Community, @carizoe.
I'll be glad to provide you the steps on how to update your bank information in QuickBooks Desktop.
First, let's update the information in QuickBooks Payroll Account Management Portal. Here's how:
Then, you have to verify the new direct deposit bank account.
For more additional information, please check out this article: Change your direct deposit bank account for QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.
Also, I'm adding this article about send payroll and direct deposit paychecks for future reference.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you should have any questions about this or anything else about QuickBooks. I'm here to help you out. Have a good day and keep safe.
Well... now there's another problem I'm having. I have a QB online sign in for A LOT of my clients. When I try to sign into that account while in my desktop version, it says my credentials are not right. Do I need to create a new QB sign on for the desktop version?
I'm not sure if I've sent this already. So sorry if it's a duplicate.
I am unable to sign into the Accounts and Billing with my QB sign on info that I have for several other customers that are on QBO. Is there a way for me to create a new sign on for the DeskTop version? When I type in my info I use for QBO, I get a message saying I have to use the right Intuit login to proceed. Then gives me the 2 boxes I usually see when signing into my QBO accounts (Email or User ID and Password)
I'm here to share some information when logging in to your account, Cari.
The QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop are different programs. That said, you're unable to sign in your client's QuickBooks Online account to your QuickBooks Desktop file.
We don't need to create a new QuickBooks Desktop file. Instead, you'll have to log in to your QuickBooks Online account and access their credentials there.
However, if you still don't have a QuickBooks Online account, you'll have to let your clients invite you as their Accountant. Once invited, you're good to access and change their bank account information.
I've also added these articles on what you can do on your client's account:
You always have me in case you have other concerns with your client's account. Stay safe!
I'm not able to follow the instructions given above. I have a QBO sign on account for all my clients. The OB Desktop version that I have payroll associated with it is my own personal account that I'm setting up payroll for. Where can I go to create a new sign on for the QB desktop? I think I'll probably have to wait until Monday to talk to someone at Inuit. I wanted to be able to solve this problem on my own though. :)
You'll have to use the same login credentials in updating your bank information via the CAMPS website with the one you used to register the QuickBooks Desktop.
But before we begin, are you the Primary Contact of the account? Because the steps in updating any personal information such as bank accounts can only the primary contact. If this is not the case, you'll have to get in touch with the primary contact of the account and let them update the bank information.
In addition, here's an article you can read to learn more about updating your bank account information: Change your QuickBooks Desktop payment method.
Lastly, I've got you this helpful article for ideas in case you wanted to update your address and phone number: Change your QuickBooks Desktop address or phone number via CAMPS.
You can always leave a comment below if you have any other questions. I'll be happy to help.
Yes, I'm the primary contact and I'm the owner of the business on my QB Destktop that I have payroll on. My main issue right now is that I can't sign on to change anything due to me not having a sign on for QB desktop. I have a sign on for QBO accounts. I'll have to contact Intuit in the am. Thanks for your willingness to help!!!
