I am Intuit QB Essentials Online subscriber. I signed up for a Tech-soup QB Advanced platform. Do I need to convert to Intuit QB Advanced b4 migrating data to Tech-soup?

Afaik, you won't be able to utilize the backup restore app to migrate your data to the new account. You may need to use a 3rd party tool as a workaround.

As mentioned by Fiat, you're unable to migrate your data to the new account using the backup restore app. As a workaround, you can use a third-party application that can integrate with the program.

Here’s how:

1. On the left navigational bar, go to Apps.

2. Choose the app that you want to get as your third-party app.

3. Click Get the app now.
