Welcome to the Community, @aaron31.

I'd like to do some troubleshooting to isolate this issue.

Let's begin with updating your QuickBooks Desktop and your Payroll Tax Table. No worries, I'm here to walk you through the process:

Update QuickBooks:

  1. Close your company files and QuickBooks.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu.
  3. Search for QuickBooks Desktop. Right-click the icon and select Run as administrator.
  4. While on the No Company Open screen, go to the Help menu and choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Go to the Options tab. Select Mark All and then hit Save.
  6. Navigate to the Update Now tab and mark the Reset Update checkbox.
  7. Hit Get Updates.
  8. When the update finishes, close and reopen QuickBooks Desktop. To install the updates, press Yes.
  9. When the install finishes, restart your computer.

Get the latest Payroll Tax Table:

  1. Go to the Employees menu and press Get Payroll Updates.
  2. Select the Download Entire Update.
  3. Choose Download Latest Update. A window appears when the download is complete.

After completing these steps, try running Payroll again. Here's a couple of Community Articles for more information: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release and Get the latest payroll tax table update.

Let me know how this goes for you. I'll be here if you need further assistance.
