Hello there, @sherryjbookkeepi.
Thanks for posting in the Community. I understand the need to change the amount in QuickBooks Online to reflect the correct amount when creating payment for worker's comp.
Let's start by checking your worker's comp set up in QuickBooks. Here's how:
- Go to the Workers menu on the left pane.
- Select the Employees tab, then click to select the employee's name. Review the details.
- You can also click Edit employee should you need to make any changes, then click Done.
You can also run a report to verify the amounts. Here's how:
- Click Reports on the left pane.
- Find the Workers' Compensation report from the search bar.
- Change Date Range if needed, then click Run Report.
In case the rate is incorrect, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team to help you with updating it.
For future reference, read through this article: Assign a Workers' Comp Class to an employee. It helps you learn about managing your worker's comp in QuickBooks Online.
Visit again here in the Community if you have more questions about the worker's comp, @sherryjbookkeepi. I'd be around to help.
