I am trying to upload my payroll and I keep getting an error message that says "problem uploading payroll sign on rejected" How do I fix this?

It also says "additional information Intuit was informed that a credit to an employees bank account was returned  Messaage code 2501"

Hello there, cleansource.

 

You'll have to unmark the Use Direct Deposit box and reupload your payroll data to get this fixed. Let me walk you through the steps.

 

  1. In your QuickBooks Desktop, go to the Employees menu.
  2. Select Employee Center, then choose the employee affected on the list.1.PNG
  3. Locate and open the paycheck, then click Paycheck Detail...2.PNG
  4. On the employee's paycheck, unmark the Use Direct Deposit box.3.PNG
  5. Click Save & Close and resend payroll data.

Please repeat the same steps for the rest of the affected employees.

 

If it doesn't work, you can follow the steps below for another troubleshooting steps:

 

  1. Uncheck & remove all Direct Deposit (DD) information for affected employees.
  2. Send a zero payroll, then enter fake bank information.
  3. Create $1.00 paycheck, then Send data.
  4. Void the check and Send data.
  5. Enter the correct DD info again for affected employees.
  6. Create a new paycheck, then Send data.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. This way, they can further investigate this matter and help you from there.

I am TRYING to upload payroll, I keep getting a error message: 

"problem uploading data to service, sign-on was rejected 

Additional information from the payroll service   

Problem We encountered a problem with your payroll transaction request

Solution to resolve the issue, contact a payroll service representative

message code 2107"

I am VERY frustrated at the amount of time it has taken me trying to get some help on this issue. Phone numbers dont work, above web address was useless, I can find no way to contact anyone directly and I need to send pay

Let's try these steps to resolve payroll service connection errors. Try one of these before proceeding to the next steps:

  • Reboot your computer.
  • Check your system time and date settings, and change them if they are not set correctly.
  • Be sure you have the latest payroll update.
