Admins and payroll managers can manage paid time off (PTO) requests for employees, Bhinz.
In QuickBooks, only administrators and managers are authorized to modify company settings in the QuickBooks Time account. They also can designate additional team members as administrators.
To address your concern about identifying who approved PTO for a specific employee and when, this information can be found in the QuickBooks Time audit log.
Here’s how to access it:
- Log in to your QuickBooks Time account.
- Navigate to Company Settings.
- Select System Log, then search for the employee’s name.
Within the audit log, you'll find the exact date and time the PTO was approved, as well as the name of the manager or administrator who approved it.
