Hello mferoce,

Once you received the confirmation email about the QuickBooks Online Full Service Payroll, you should be able to do  your payroll tasks without a problem. We can try reloading (F5) the page for any changes. If this doesn't work, we'll do a few troubleshooting steps to fix it.

Though cache helps browser's background processes, it can also cause issues when piled up on your browser. Here's how to get rid of any cache-related issues:

  1. Open a private window and log in to your QuickBooks Online account. It uses but doesn't store cache.
  2. If that works, we can go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
  3.  Other supported browser can be good alternatives, too. Each of them uses different cache.

After that, you should be able to continue your payroll tasks. You might find this article helpful as you use the program: QuickBooks Online Payroll Full Service Hub.

Feel free to post here in the Community if have more questions about it. Have a great day!

I thought of something after I posted my issue.

I had previously used Intuit Online Payroll for Accountants and then exported it into my clients QuickBooks account. Now that I have also taken over the Treasurer Function, I set up the payroll function into their QuickBooks account. I tried to cancel the Intuit Online Payroll for Accounts subscription but since a tax payment is still in process (payment date is 1/30), I cannot cancel yet. Do you think that 2 active payroll accounts for the same EIN could be preventing me from submitting the payroll in QB?

Hi @mferoce,

There's no issue with having 2 active payroll accounts with the same EIN. If you've already tried the troubleshooting steps provided by my peer above, then I suggest contacting our Technical Support team for further assistance.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help menu.
  3. Select Contact us.

I am having this SAME ISSUE. I used to be able to run payroll no problem, then I clicked the "auto pay" feature thinking that QB could make all my tax payments for me. Well I went to run payroll and got the error, same as is described. I Unselected the auto pay, but it didn't fix it. I called support and told them I needed it to work and that the function of auto pay was probably messing something up. SO THEY DELETED MY PAYROLL SERVICE!!! then I had to re-activate payroll, wait 3 days and now I still cant run payroll because I keep getting this error message! I have been hand writing checks. It's totally unacceptable and the fact that QB has made it almost impossible to talk to a human is beyond frustrating. I used (like 8 months ago) to be able to call, wait for 5-10 minutes and talk to a real person. Now I have to take a number and wait for 180 minutes. And if i am not glued to my phone that whole 180 minutes and miss the call, then I have to wait another 180 minutes...

Quickbooks is failing. Profits over customer service. Sad.
