I e-filed 1099's but to resend to a contractor whose link has expired

I've got the steps to resend the invite so your contractor can add their own 1099 tax info, @michaelavella. I'll guide you how.

  1. Go to Workers from the left menu.
  2. Select Contractors.
  3. Choose the contractor's name.
  4. Click Send a reminder.
  5. Verify the name and hit Send

The screenshots below show you the steps.

After that, please have your contractor accept the invite. They will enter their W-9 info and digitally sign the form. Once done, their info is saved in their account. For more details, check out this article: Invite A Contractor To Add Their Own 1099 Tax Info

I'd suggest visiting this website: Prepare and File Federal 1099s Using QuickBooks Online. This link provides you steps on how to e-file your 1099s and what you can do after you e-filed them.

Additionally, you can check the status of your e-filed 1099 forms. This can be done by logging into your 1099 E-File Service account. The statuses are Not SubmittedSubmitted, and Received by IRS.

I'm just a comment away if you need anything else. Enjoy the rest of your day, @michaelavella.
