Hello valentine3!

Thanks for posting again here. Let me assist you with your COBRA tax credit.

When you enter the COBRA premium payments, make sure to select the correct Time Period. It must be 2021, and not 2022. You'll want to review it and edit it if needed.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Payroll tax.
  2. Look for and select COBRA premium assistance or Catch a break on COBRA premium subsidies.
  3. From the Get your COBRA Tax Credit section, search and edit the COBRA premium amount you've entered by clicking the Edit button.
  4. Tap Save.

If you can't modify it, please reach out to our Payroll Team. They can further check it and do some corrections.

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "COBRA Tax Credit".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

I've added some links you can check. These will show you more details about the COBRA Premium Subsidy and how to run payroll reports in QuickBooks Online:
