I had not accessed my QB Online account for about 35 days. When I went in, all of my data for the past 7 years had been deleted, I was told by QB this is their policy??

Does anyone know what to do?? I have of course still been paying QB monthly, but they deleted my data!!?

Data in QuickBooks Online will only be deleted if it's already a year since the account is canceled. In your case, you mentioned that it's still active and you are still subscribed to it. 

 

It's possible that a browser issue might have hidden your data when you logged back in. I'll share the steps that can resolve some of the most common browser issues in QBO. 

 

Start by using an incognito/private browsing session or a different browser. These keyboard shortcuts will let you open an incognito session: 

 

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl Shift P for Microsoft Edge

 
Once done, go back to your account and check if you can already see your data. If you can see that it's being updated, follow the steps in this article to delete your browsing history: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.
