I had QB Enterprise downloaded with help from Intuit person, and now my payroll send data, direct deposit feature says error 2107 and it wont send my payroll. Intuit Payroll tech not in until Monday!

Newly upgraded version Enterprise as of yesterday with help of Intuit person remotely did my upgrade.  but we tried to do a payroll check and send to direct deposit as I have always done in my company and it wouldn't send data, it created check and I put my pin in for direct deposit and click send and it failed with "error code 2107" .  Intuit rep helped for an hour with no luck.  Said I need the "Payroll Tech persons"  and they aren't in until Monday and they are trained in that area but  I need to do payroll now.  Only intuit reps that are able to handle issues other then payroll issues, are available 7 days a week.   Not sure if payroll subscription number  and product number and service key are good, but the rep helping me said those are all fine because they came with the download. but she did say the payroll department area can help but I just wondering if anyone has any tips and I can finish payroll .  Also I created a new company for year 2019 , as I always keep my years separate .  so my new company year that I need to do a payroll on is in limbo cause cant send.  I did try doing a payroll check on the 2018 company file and it wont send to direct deposit data either.  failed and I think that error code was "error 2002"  something about ID number the rep said it meant?  I have no control over changing product numbers or key numbers because they just did the upgrade online with me remotely I handed it over to the upgrade rep.  And all parts are activated as the rep and I opened all areas to make sure direct deposit is activated.

Hi there, Lawrence.

QuickBooks Direct Deposit only allows one company file per EIN. This is why you're getting an error since each file has their own QuickBooks File ID.

Our Payroll Support Team will need to access your Direct Deposit account for them to reset the File ID so you can send your data. In case you don't have theie contact information yet, please follow these steps:

  1. Open this link: https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/?infosrc=qs&service=16.
  2. Click Payroll, then click View Contact Info.

Visit us again in the Community if you have other questions.

Thanks for that info.  I will call payroll team tomorrow.  I actually ended up going into the 2019 created account that was just created and I decided to type over the existing key number of subscription, by clicking the "edit" option in the box, even though exact same key numbers, and it worked!   Not sure if that is what let me do a payroll in the newly created company 2019, but it might of reset it?  I will definitely call payroll team to brief them on what I did, if that could of corrected the issue.

Hello, @Anonymous.

Allow me to join the conversation. I’m glad you were able to make the existing service key work and send payroll.

However, it’s best to give our Payroll Support Team a call to ensure that you've successfully sent it and that everything on your account is correctly set up. They have tools such as screen-sharing that can help verify this information.

Here’s how to reach them:
1.    Go to https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/?infosrc=qs&service=16.
2.    Select your payroll product.
3.    Choose Payroll as the topic.
4.    Click the View Contact Info to get the phone number.

Please let me know how it goes after contacting them. If you need anything else, feel free to post again or leave a comment below. I'm always here to help. Wishing you the best!
