I have a new iMac from last year. I can do everything else on QB but run payroll. All I get is the circle chasing itself. Why?
Sometimes local internet cache files stored in the system can cause unexpected behavior in the product, @Matt0561.
We can fix this issue by performing some basic troubleshooting steps. Let me show you how:
First, let's use a private window to access your account. This a special mode where the browser doesn't record the browsing activity on the local device, so no trace will be left on the computer. Here's how:
Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
Control + Option + P (Safari).
If the loading issue is gone, then let’s go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. These caches of data are essentially junk files and can be safely deleted to free up storage space. If the same problem occurs, try using a different browser. This might be a temporary issue with QuickBooks and the current browser that you use.
Let me also provide you a link to check if your browser is compatible with QuickBooks: Fixit.intuit.com.
However, if you're using a QuickBooks app, you can reset your app data to fix the loading error. Simply follow these steps:
