Have you tried paying it and just deleting the errant payment after that? (not via e-pay inside of QB)
Good day, rgill1101.
Allow me to jump into this thread add some information about your payroll concern.
I was able to confirm that there's an ongoing issue with Payroll Tax reminders remaining on the dashboard after a tax payment and forms are filed in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I recommend reaching out our Payroll Support Team to receive updates on this investigation. When you do, provide this product escalation number: INV - 14476.
Here's how to get in contact with them:
As soon as the resolution has been released for this issue, our support team will update you through email.
That should do it. Please know that I'm always ready to help you with any QBO concerns you might have. Just leave a comment below and I'll get back to you. Take care.

Sure would be nice if there was a single place where all the known issues would get posted as urgent notices rather than every affected person having to ask (or start shopping alternate software) The issue with inability to print checks over the weekend comes quickly to mind
