Hello, chefofantiquity-. I'll ensure you can file your self-employed taxes in no time.

If I may ask, have you tried all these steps?

  1. Connect your bank to bring in your transactions.
  2. Categorize expenses.
  3. Save money at tax time by claiming all your deductions.

Here's an article for more details: Get ready to file taxes on self-employed income in QuickBooks Online.

If yes, have you received an error or prompt message? Any additional information can help me provide a timely solution to fix the issue.

In the meantime, you can resolve this by performing some troubleshooting steps. There are times that an issue like this occurs when the system encounters a browser-related concern.

Start filing taxes on a private window. It is where we can identify if you're experiencing a browser-related issue. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to open one:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Microsoft Edge).
  • Control + Option + P (Safari).

If it works, go back to a regular browser and clear its cache so the system can start fresh.

You can also have the option to use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Safari.

You're always welcome to post again. The Community is here to help.

I can't find the link or option to file my return. I have tried connecting my QuickBooks online to TurboTax to file my personal and business taxes together. I started my business last year and only have start-up costs and expenses, no income as of yet. I am operating as a sole proprietorship.
