We've received reports from other users about the error message "You need to subscribe to QuickBooks Online to do this" when using the QuickBooks Online mobile app. If you're referring to this problem as well, I recommend using the web browser in the meantime.
Our product engineers are diligently working to fix the issue as quickly as possible regarding the investigation number INV-26980. To receive updates via Email and include you on the list of affected users, I recommend contacting our Support Specialist.
Here's how you can reach them:
Log into your QuickBooks account.
Click the Help option in the upper-right corner.
Click the Contact us hyperlink.
If you're having difficulty entering information through the browser, you can perform some basic troubleshooting to isolate the problem. You can start by switching to a different supported browser through your mobile or computer.
