For now, there's no option to create another salary item for a different group of employees in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
I can see that being able to create multiple salary items lets you separate the wages between the staff and physicians. I recommend sending a feature about this to our product engineers.
Customer feedback is very important in shaping the future development of QuickBooks Online Payroll and ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of users like yourself.
Here's how to send a request or feedback in QBO:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
- Type in your feedback or suggestions about being able to add multiple salary items.
- Click Next to submit feedback.
