I need to delete a payroll tax payment QB entered and reissue it through EFTPS payment service

Deleting or voiding your payroll tax payments depends on certain circumstances and time periods from the time you've submitted the tax payments. Let me share some information on how it works.

Here are the factors to consider so you can delete the tax payments you've made:

• The tax payment is manually recorded (non-electronic payments).
• The electronic payment has not been processed yet.
• You can delete the Federal tax payment before 5 pm PST,  two business days prior to the payment date. 

Here's how to  delete your tax payments:

1. Go to the Taxes menu.
2. Select Payroll Tax.
3. Choose to View tax payments you have made.
4. Pick the name of the tax payment.
   • Change the date range if necessary.
5. From the drop-down, select Delete.
6. Select Yes to confirm the deletion.

However, if the tax payments are processed or already processed electronically, the option to delete them or make changes to them is unavailable. That being said, I'd recommend contacting our Payroll Support Team. An agent can securely pull up your account and further assist you with this one. Here's how to reach them:

1. Click the Help icon on the top right. 
2. Tap the Contact Us button at the bottom. 
3. Enter a short description of your concern. 
4. Tick Continue. 
5. Choose to Message an agent or  Get a callback to connect with our support.
