I need to file a 941 from 2017 that I neglected to file. How do I do that on Quickbooks?

I'm here to assist you in filing the 941 forms, cc-eaton.

I understand that we really have to file all the tax forms, the same goes for the tax payments. In QuickBooks Online Payroll, we're unable to process the late filing of payroll forms. The best option I can suggest is to print the 941 in QuickBooks Online. Then, use it as a reference so you manually file and mail it. Though, this is only applicable if you archived this form already. You can follow these steps in printing the form in QBO.

  1. Go to Taxes tab and select the Payroll Tax.
  2. Under Quarterly Forms, click View and Print Archived Forms.
  3. From All drop-down, select the 941 for 2017.
  4. Click on View. Then, you can now print it.

If you haven't archived the said form, please contact our Customer Support Team so they can generate the form for you.

  1. Click Contact us from Help.
  2. Enter 941 Form in the question field, then click Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Start messaging or Get a callback.
