To ensure your payroll taxes are accurate in QuickBooks Online Payroll, we should start by verifying that your company address is correctly registered in Kentucky.

 

If your company address is confirmed to be in Kentucky (KY), but West Virginia (WV) tax information is still appearing, it usually indicates one of two issues: either the work location for an employee is mistakenly set to WV, or the WV state tax registration has been unintentionally included in your payroll setup.
