I've got you covered, @johnfjames90-gma.

Since you've already paid your Federal and State income taxes, you can enter a prior tax history to adjust the tax liabilities when running payroll. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Taxes from the left menu, then select Payroll Tax.
  3. In the Taxes section, click Enter prior tax history.
  4. Select on Add payment.
  5. Choose the tax type and the liability period (the period that the taxes accrued), then click OK. The recorded payment will now show in the Prior Tax Payments screen.

After recording the prior tax payment, the taxes won't withhold every time you process payroll

Once everything is all good, you might want to run payroll reports in QBO. This will help you review useful information about your business, payroll taxes, and employees.

Should you need any assistance running payroll, I'm available here to help any time!
