Hi there, @david-contigoele

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Community for support. I hope you're having a great day!

I wanted to take a moment to clarify a few things to get more insight into what's going on. Are you receiving an error message when trying to run payroll? If so, could you share a screenshot of it? Was your previous tax payment rejected? Any additional details that you could provide would be great. It really helps me to break down the issue for further investigation.

One thing to keep in mind when trying to delete tax payments is it will depend on certain circumstances and time periods from the time you've submitted the tax payments. Let me share some information on how it works.

Here are the factors to consider so you can delete the tax payments you've made:

  • The tax payment is manually recorded (non-electronic payments).
  • The electronic payment has not been processed yet.
  • You can delete the Federal tax payment before 5 pm PST,  two business days prior to the payment date.

To delete the tax payment:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Tap on Payroll Tax.
  3. Choose to View tax payments you have made.
  4. Pick the name of the tax payment (Change the date range if necessary).
  5. From the drop-down, click on Delete.
  6. Select Yes to confirm the deletion.

In the case that your tax payment has already been processed, the option to delete it or make any changes to it will be unavailable. At that point, it'd be best to contact our Payroll Support Team. An agent can take a look into your account securely and look into other options.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day!
