I pprocessed payroll yesterday and it appeared direct deposits were correct. they are all showing up as live checks now. Any thoughts what happened?

When processing direct deposit payroll check, you may have a 1-day lead time or a 5-day lead time depending payroll subscription you have. This means you need to submit your payroll before 5:00 PM PST 1 business day prior to payday with a 1-day lead time or 5:00 PM PST 5 business days before payday.

 

Let's first check the paycheck list. It will show a list of the direct deposit paychecks you've processed. This way, you'd see a note that will indicate whether it is successful or not. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Payroll section
  3. Double-click the Paycheck List.

You'd see note on each paycheck that will indicate it as DD. Also, you'd received an email notification if it's successful. If you're seeing Check in the Pay Method column, it means it is a regular paycheck.
