I received notice that my federal estimated tax payment submitted in October was accepted by the IRS, but that payment does not show up in my Tax summary?

I updated my password in quickbooks self employed and also made another quarterly payment today.  When will these payments show up in the tax summary?

Good afternoon, @t-burton.

Let's get this problem handled.

Since this is an estimated tax payment, it will not show up in the Tax Summary because it's not withheld from any income.

To make sure you're getting credit for your estimated payments, take a look at your 1040 Form. Those payments will be on Line 65.

Below are steps with how to view your estimated tax payments:

  1. Select Tax Tools on the left side to increase your choices.
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Choose View Tax Summary under Other Helpful Links.
  4. Go to Preview My 1040 to see your tax form which includes your tax payment.
