I set up payroll. When I changed check to direct deposit, I could not get a connection to the bank. It took two days. Now it's not working. How do I fix it?

I set up payroll to send the check on 11/14. I connected to the bank on 11/15. The check didn't go direct deposit. What do I do know to pay direct deposit?

Let me help you set up the Direct Deposit, leo19. 

 

When changing the check to Direct Deposit, we need to set up the employee payment method by updating it in the Payroll settings. This ensures the paychecks to be processed through the direct deposit. Let me show you how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Payroll settings.
  3. Under Bank Account, choose Employees
  4. Click Set Up
  5. Drop-down arrow and choose Direct deposit
  6. Press OK
