Welcome to the Community, @mandyhallman. I'm here to help ensure you're able to correct the pay date for your tax return.

If this is done electronically, you can delete and resubmit it if it's not yet transmitted. Here's how to check e-payment status:

  1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax.
  2. Go to the View Archived Forms in the Quarterly forms section.
  3. Select the form name, then check the E-file Status.

If the status is Not Transmitted, proceed and follow the steps to delete the payment you've made:

  1. In the Taxes section, select View tax payments you have made
  2. Change the Date Range, then click Run Report
  3. Choose the name of the tax payment.
  4. Select Delete from the drop-down.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

You can now recreate and resubmit the quarterly unemployment and state withholding.

However, if the status is already Transmitted, you'll want to contact the states to help you change the payment date of your quarterly unemployment and state withholding.

Check out this link to find the phone number of your state: Payroll Tax Compliance Links. You can also use this information to ensure you comply with the state payroll tax regulations.

I'd also recommend reading through this article to learn more about how to delete manually recorded tax payments: Delete a tax payment.

Let me know if you have additional questions. We're always delighted to help. Stay safe.
