Hi there, mylocaldelivery,

I'm here to help ensure you're able to add the total amount of trips for your mileage tax allowance.

Before we start, are you getting an error or is the app not letting you record any trip manually? If so, you can log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account via a web browser. Then, enter your mileage from there.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to this link: https://selfemployed.intuit.com/login.
  2. Choose the Miles menu.
  3. Select Add trip.
  4. Enter each trip.
  5. Edit the Date.
  6. Select the ✏️pencil icon to edit the start and end addresses (this is optional).
  7. Add a Trip purpose note.
  8. To categorize it as Business, swipe left. For personal, swipe right.
  9. When you're done, select Save.

On the other hand, you can uninstall the QBSE app and re-install the latest version. This ensures you have the latest fixes and features of the program. Then, proceed to Manually add trips to track mileage to enter them on iOS or Android device.

In case you want to track mileage automatically, check out the Auto-tracking feature for more details.
