Integrating eBay to QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a breeze, @jgthrilla-yahoo-. I'm here to provide assistance with the setup.

First off, let me go over and discuss some information on what to expect when you integrate eBay into QBO.

When you connect eBay to the program, Intuit will automatically do the following:

  • Update stock levels between QBO and eBay
  • Share any updated or created products from eBay to QBO
  • Share when an order is made on eBay and create or update the sales invoice or receipt in QBO
  • Ongoing support service from our team.

There are also optional workflows that will be presented during the integration process. These will demonstrate the full capabilities of the setup.

  • Sales from eBay will be sent to QuickBooks Online as an invoice.
  • Products from eBay will be created in QuickBooks Online.
  • Stock level updates from QuickBooks Online will be sent to eBay.

For more details about this, feel free to visit this page: eBay Connector by Intuit.

To make sure the sales transactions will also show, I recommend configuring the eBay settings.

  1. After connecting the app, you'll now have to set up your Synchronization options.
  2. Next, configure your workflows.
  3. Then, sync your data by going to the Manage tab and selecting Sync Now on the Synchronization Options.

For the detailed instructions, please check this article: Set up eBay Connector by Intuit with QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, if the eBay app that you connect is not developed by Intuit, I recommend reaching out to their 3rd party support for further guidance in the setup.

When everything is fine, I've attached a helpful resource that you can check for reference in categorizing your transactions in QBO: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know how this goes. I'd be glad to know any updates about set up process of your eBay account to QBO. And if you have additional questions, feel free to post them here. I'm always ready to lend a hand. Keep safe and have a good day.
