You can create an early pay discount for your invoices by adding terms. Let me share some details and guide you in this.
Creating terms lets you know when the due date of your invoices are. You can create a new term to signify the discount you want to apply to the invoice.
However, at this moment, you’ll still need to edit the invoice to apply the discount manually. The automatic calculation of discount in the invoice terms are still in the process to be released.
Let me show you in creating a new term with a discount.
Once you’ve created the term, you can apply it on the invoice. If your customer has paid it early, you can then edit the invoice to apply the discount. Here’s how:

The "Apply discount if paid early" checkbox does not show on screen, so there's nothing to check.

As of this time, the Apply discount if paid early is no longer an option in QuickBooks Online. As an alternative, you can utilize the Discount percent option from the invoice to manually enter the discount percentage. Let me guide you how.
