I want to take the standard deduction and file my taxes now!!

Hi there, @darlafmiller.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) helps you track your self-employed income and expenses. It calculates your federal estimated quarterly taxes so you know how much to pay each quarter.

If you're using TurboTax Self-Employed, you can export your data directly into it and efile your taxes. If not, simply download your tax reports and use another tax filing program to file your taxes.

Here's how to get your quarterly tax info:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu.
  2. Select the Quarterly tab.
  3. Choose the quarter you need estimates for.

To get your annual tax info, follow the steps in this article: How to get annual tax info from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For further help in getting your federal estimated quarterly tax payments or filing your taxes, you can check the IRS website.

Additionally, QBSE tracks federal estimated tax payments. This covers federal income and self-employment taxes. Keep in mind, QuickBooks doesn't track state estimated taxes. You may need to enter this info manually.

Should you have any follow-up questions or concerns, don't hesitate to post again here in the Community or leave a comment on this thread. Take care and have a good one.

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the tax filing concern you had the other day. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.
